2007 BARBER REUNION DECLARED HUGE SUCCESS!

The 2007 reunion is now history! If you weren't there... we missed you! It was a year of "firsts". This was the first year we didn't have our regular auction, however our silent auction was a big hit! Also, this was the first year that we had our "Barber Shop", where several sold items that they had made. This year was also the first year that we all took home an 8x10 photo of the whole family together. (If you would like to order one, please leave a comment at the end of this blog.) Another first, was the Barber Cheer Squad...pictures to come later. :) This was the first year that we played the "Oldywed Game" (our version of the newlywed game.) Congratulations to Aunt Donna and Uncle Nelson for winning! Thanks to K (Aunt Verna's husband) for the comic relief!

On the down side, was the fact that this was the first year that 6 families had no representation, however Uncle Larry had his WHOLE family there! Way to go Larry Barber family! (And a big thanks again to Leryc for the wonderful ice cream treats!)

We have lots of fun and new ideas for next year. If you have any ideas that you'd like to share, we'd love to hear them!
